Introduction: Well, this site was made to test Adult Sponsor Programs (aka Affiliate Programs), as its name already says. I made this site to give fellow webmasters some help and support when they’re looking for a new source of income. I started to create a database of sponsors in 2001. At the beginning I only collected and stored information about sponsors that I’ve used on my own sites. But soon I partnered up with some friends of mine, and the database of sponsors grew rapidly. As time went by, we’ve seen that it’s very, very difficult to compare conversion ratios of different sponsors. There are hundreds of variables that may affect conversion ratios of a sponsor in a positive or negative way. Most of these variables depend on different traffic sources, so we’ve decided to create a simple form of Test Criteria for our traffic.

General Test Criteria:

- We have never and we will never let the owner of an affiliate program know that we send traffic to a specific account for testing purposes. Most existing Sponsor Test Sites out there tell the sponsor that they’re going to test a specific account, or even get paid by the sponsor to test a program. I don’t have to say that this is more than useless; it’s nothing more than paid advertising.

Test Criteria TGP/MGP Traffic:

- For TGP (Thumbnail Gallery Post) or MGP (Movie Gallery Post) traffic, we’ve never used a specific site since the quality of traffic varies from site to site. Therefore we’ve only used traffic from Gallery submissions. We’ve submitted our galleries to hundreds of TGPs/MGPs.

- We´ve taken care that our galleries did NOT get spidered by major Search Engines (we´ve denied access for their robots), to ensure a constant quality of traffic. A SE-listing of a single gallery would improve conversion rates of this sponsor, so it wouldn´t be an objective comparison with other sponsors.

- We´ve used very simple templates for our galleries, which looked all more or less the same for each sponsor; therefore, our average CTR (Click Through Rate) was around 4.8% (which is better than I thought when I first saw the gallery template).

- We´ve always used our own content for testing purposes, since the quality of free content offered by sponsors varies.

Test Criteria for SE Traffic:

- We´ve used most major PPC (Pay Per Click) Search Engines as traffic sources, to get a good sample of SE traffic.

- We´ve always tried to use the same keywords for a single niche; therefore, we were unable to test very small niches or sites that cover multiple niches.

Test Criteria for AVS Traffic:

- Just like with TGP/MGP traffic, we had to take care that the CTR and quality of traffic was the same for all AVS-upsell-pages; therefore, we again used simple Templates and tried to avoid a SE listing.

Important Disclaimer/Notes:

- As every webmaster knows there's a huge problem with cheaters in this business. Since we can't officially blame a program or any program owner for cheating without risking to get sued we just remove the program from our site without any further comment. So be assured that adultsponsortest.com only listst affiliate programs with a good reputation, but please understand that we can't take the risk of running a "blacklist" of cheating, shaving etc. sponsors.
